4. Black Stilt Retreat, STUNNING luxury property

The house is amazing and a great place to stay in Twizel to visit Mt Cook and other local sights. Positive: This is an absolutely beautiful house. We were expecting something nice based on the photos but it really is fantastic. Beautifully decorated and a well stocked kitchen. The rooms are fantastic with a great bath in the main bedroom ensuite. It's only a few min from the supermarket, cafes etc. by car.

Positive: The property was as described - it had beautiful decor, warm, cosy and quiet. Mountain glimpses from bedroom and living area. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and washing machine plus dryer. Convenient for exploring stunning Mt Cook, Lake Pukaki and Lake Tekapo & surrounds...great Salmon restaurant close by too and the town has essentials if you need to pick something up. Our host Amy was quick to respond, helpful and friendly. Thank you. Negative: Minor issue was that the coffee machine wasn't working for us but we went to local cafes.
