Charming cottage overlooking a working sheep station. LotR fans will recognize the ajacent area, owned by the same family, as the site of the Pelennor Fields battle scene. Very convenient for day hikes in Mt. Cook National Park. No frills accommodation, but the cute little town of Twizel is a 5 minute drive away, and one can find all the basic food and supplies there.

Lovely cosy little cottage, up on the hill. Great setting off point for lake pukaki & Aoraki. Not far out of Twizel, so easy to access cafes & restaurants by car.
